Goals:
- to document the experience and perspectives of African American people
- to increase awareness among younger generations of the history, experiences, and perspectives of African Americans, during the twentieth century
- to provide educational materials
Who: African Americans who are at least 80 years of age
What: an in-home biographical interview and a public interview at which “Treasures of Our Heritage” share their memories and thoughts about their experiences
Where: in the churches or historic places of Fayetteville, North Carolina
